Foundation of Vidya Prasarak Mandal
VPM was established at Naupada, Thane with the founding vision of making quality education accessible to all communities in the region.
Dr. Bedekar Vidya Mandir Marathi Medium School
Launched as one of the trust's earliest formal schooling initiatives, providing Marathi-medium education rooted in regional culture and values.
Bandodkar Science College & Joshi-Bedekar College
Two landmark colleges are established simultaneously, marking VPM's decisive entry into higher education with science, arts, and commerce streams.
Dr. V. N. Bedekar Institute of Management Studies
VPM ventured into professional management education, laying the foundation for industry-ready graduates.
VPM's Polytechnic (NBA Accredited)
Technical and vocational education gets a strong boost with the establishment of VPM's Polytechnic, later accredited by NBA.
International Expansion – London & ICER
VPM goes global with the London Academy of Education and Research and the International Centre for Education and Research, opening doors to worldwide collaboration.
VPM's College of Engineering, Thane
The trust's 22nd institution — VPM's College of Engineering in Thane — receives AICTE approval and opens its doors, marking a new chapter in engineering education.
